RAINBOW RUN

For this 10 week project we had to work in teams of 4 to independently develop an innovative solution to a problem we have encountered. We created Rainbow Run, a game that combines mental and physical activity in order to change how individuals learn. The game requires players to use both their mental and physical abilities in order to be successful, and as added motivation allows them to compete against another user.   

To build the system we designed and laser cut 11 boxes, and built 20 buttons for players to use. The first game mode, Rainbow Run, asks players to hit the button (by correctly inserting the corresponding shape into the hole) of a randomly illuminated color. The second game mode, Trivia, asks players to correctly answer a trivia question.
