TECHNOPOLY

Our challenge for this independent 4 week project was to create an interactive game with 4 integrated electronic components. We created Technopoly, a version of Monopoly which is all about the tech industry. to create the game we built a wooden box, and used the laser cutter to etch our game board (which was designed in Adobe Illustrator) onto the top. We then wired copper tape circuits around the board so each square lit up when a player landed on it and closed the circuit using their game piece. The Go space and Jail space were each connected to an Arduino LilyPad speaker, which played a distinct tune when a player landed on the space.
